Event partners confirmed for inaugural Twin Cities Twilight Relays 2025

Twin Cities Twilight Relays

The inaugural Twin Cities Twilight Relays, set to take place on Friday, July 18, 2025, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has announced its roster of event partners.

Organised by Endurance Sports Consultancy (ESC), the new summer relay event will be held around Lake Bde Maka Ska and aims to deliver a celebratory, community-focused experience.

Athletic Brewing has been named the Official Non-Alcoholic Beer of the event. The US-based brand has already supported the Twilight Relays’ spring Run Group Tour, and will provide free non-alcoholic beer to all participants at the post-race Relay Festival.

Nuun Hydration has been confirmed as the Supporting Hydration Partner. Nuun Sport products will be available in the event’s Runner Refueling Zone, and each relay team will receive a Nuun Sport tube – serving both as hydration and the official timing-tagged baton for the relay.

The Minneapolis Parks Foundation (MPF) joins as the Official Non-profit Partner. A portion of every team’s registration fee will be donated to MPF, with runners also able to contribute during registration. The event will match a portion of participant donations and provide an additional contribution in exchange for MPF’s volunteer Green Team, supporting sustainability efforts and zero waste goals.

“These major partners will play a critical role in delivering a successful inaugural edition of the Relays,” said Eli Asch, Relay Director and ESC Founder.

“From Athletic providing Relays runners a way to have a healthy ‘cheers!’ with their teammates, to Nuun assuring our runners stay hydrated in the summer heat, to MPF contributing to our event’s positive community impact, we couldn’t be more grateful to them for seeing our vision for a summer running party and jumping in to support it.”

All four locally owned Twin Cities running stores – Fit 1st Running, Gear Running Store, Twin Cities Running Company, and Mill City Running – will act as Supporting Packet Pick-up Partners, each hosting an evening of packet pick-up during race week.

Additional partners include Ackerberg, which will provide event parking at 3033 Excelsior Blvd, and Metro Transit, offering free public transport to participants and volunteers on race day.

Other non-profit partners Brave Like Gabe, Mile in My Shoes, and Run Minnesota will be present at the Relay Festival with dedicated booths.

“In ways large and small, these partners are all contributing to assuring that the inaugural Twin Cities Twilight Relays are a success,” said Asch.

“Their support is a signifier of their belief in what we’re building for the Twin Cities running community at the Relays, and we are so excited to bring them all together on a beautiful summer evening for a celebration of the vibrant and diverse Twin Cities running community.”
