FORM Smart Swim 2 PRO features Gorilla Glass lenses and new software features

FORM, the Canada-based smart goggle brand, has announced its latest product, the Smart Swim 2 PRO, featuring chemically strengthened Corning Gorilla Glass 3 lenses. Available in the US and Canada now, with global availability starting in early August 2025, the launch builds on the Smart Swim 2 model released in April 2024.

The new goggles are aimed at competitive swimmers and triathletes training or racing in demanding environments. Gorilla Glass 3 improves scratch and impact resistance, and FORM says the new lens stack delivers greater optical clarity while blocking 98% of UV rays (UPF 50+).

Unlike plastic-lensed goggles with factory anti-fog coatings that can degrade over time, the Smart Swim 2 PRO uses a refillable anti-fog solution that includes a 25% baby shampoo and 75% water mix. A 10ml spray bottle and concentrate are included with each purchase, providing over 175 uses. The fog-proofing process takes around 10 seconds per swim.

The goggles retain the same features found in the original Smart Swim 2 model – including real-time performance metrics, guided workouts, heart rate tracking, virtual coaching via HeadCoach, and open-water navigation through FORM’s ‘SwimStraight’ in-goggle display feature.

“Smart Swim 2 PRO is yet another industry-leading product that pushes the boundaries of industrial design and performance, setting a new standard in goggle durability and visual clarity,” said FORM founder and CEO Dan Eisenhardt.

The Smart Swim 2 PRO is priced at: US$329, C$449, £279, €329, and A$529.

The launch also coincides with the rollout of new software updates as part of FORM’s premium subscription offering, which is compatible with all generations of FORM goggles.

New Premium features launching in July and September include:

HeadCoach Plans (available July)
Swimmers receive evolving, data-driven workouts personalised to their goals, progress, and preferences.

Smart Set (available July)
Displays intervals and set-building instructions live in-goggle, helping athletes stay focused without manual lap counting.

HeadCoach Insights (available September)
Delivers post-swim feedback and technique suggestions, replicating guidance from an elite swim coach.

In May, FORM also launched Streaks, a free feature designed to help swimmers stay consistent with weekly swim goals. One swim per week maintains the streak, with motivational prompts and in-app celebrations.

“FORM believes our Premium subscription provides the tools and insights required to unlock the full potential of our swimmers and triathletes,” said Eisenhardt. “With these enhancements, we are laser-focused on delivering more value and world-class coaching.”

FORM Premium includes over 1,500 guided workouts, 45 training plans, virtual coaching, and open-water navigation. It is available after a one-month free trial, with ongoing access priced (on a monthly basis) at: US$9.99, C$11.59, £8.25, €9.99, and A$14.99.
