Dorel Industries’ Cycling Sports Group (CSG) has confirmed that it will begin direct distribution of its GT brand in Canada with its new 2011 model range introduction at ExpoCycle 2010. This follows other global markets, including Italy, France, Germany, Portugal and Benelux where the company has also recently moved to a direct distribution model with GT.
"As we continue to organise ourselves around all of our brands in Canada, it is critical to our strategy that we are the best business partner for our retailers," said Adam Ingrao, General Manager of Cycling Sports Group Canada.
"This decision will enable us to simplify the CSG experience for our dealers and deliver the best possible sales programs and incentives, greater marketing activity, and cohesive multi-brand options. We are taking this important step to be in a position to develop stronger direct relationships with all of our CSG dealers."
CSG will show the 2011 GT product line-up at the ExpoCycle show in Montreal, running from 12-14 September 2010.
