Live online: 2011 Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship

Coming soon, the ground-breaking live online coverage from  the International Triathlon Union (ITU) is ‘back and even better’ for the 2011 Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Series.

2011 online coverage includes:
• 14 x two-hour live broadcasts
• Full race coverage with at least 20 camera positions
• Live graphics with timing, maps and profiles
• Audio commentary
• 14 x hour long magazine shows, with in-depth race reviews
• Behind-the-scenes access, plus extended World Cup action
• Archive viewing of all 14 live broadcasts

That’s 70 hours of broadcast in 42 video streams all on www.triathlonlive.tv.

Each individual race or magazine show stream can be watched for just €1.99 or tri fans can buy the season pass for €19.99 and watch all the action this season. Overall, ITU notes that this is a 20% reduction on 2010 prices and the season pass also offers technical support to get the program up and running.

Without a subscription, viewers can still follow the races for free on triathlonlive.tv and get access to live audio commentary, live interactive text and live timing with individual athlete splits and local information such as weather, maps and start lists.

Meanwhile, ITU has a new promotion to tempt subscribers…

With Sydney kicking off the 2011 series this coming weekend, 9-10 April, any subscribers to ITU’s triathlonlive.tv service will be in with a chance to win one of three Oakley sunglasses the organisation is giving away.

To enter the prize draw, consumers must purchase a Triathlonlive.tv season pass before midnight Sydney time (GMT +10) this Friday 8 April.
