Specialist swimwear company blueseventy has released a pool specific suit. According to the company, the nero comp swimskin was designed with only one thought in mind: speed.
Designed to suit elite swimmers that want a swimskin that is aggressively fitted and super quick, the nero comp features a flattened low resistance zipper, larger arm gussets, and a tighter overall fit to result in lower drag and improved speed.
The ultra light competition-inspired fit features a hidden low line racing zipper. Water and UV resistant Power Lycra reduces water absorption over long distances, whilst providing flexibility, durability and a comfortable fit. Using Yamamoto SCS fabric with hydrophobic skin the nero comp has a claimed drag coefficient of only 0.032 (over 50 times lower than skin), that reduces friction drag through the water.
