CEO Challenges reports record year

CEO Challenges, a leading organiser of sports competitions for chief executives, has reported a strong 2008, raising US$13,800 for good causes along the way.

137 executives, representing 13 nationalities, travelled to locations around the globe to participate in the CEO challenges. The premiere event of the season, the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii, in October named Aaron Wallen of Honolulu the ‘World’s Fittest CEO’.

“Each year is better than the one before and each challenge continues to be better than the last,” said Ted Kennedy, president of CEO Challenges. “We plan to carry this energy into 2009 with exciting new CEO Challenges such as skiing and driving, along with many new triathlon events ranging from the shorter Olympic distance, to off-road XTERRA, right up to the full Ironman. Plus, we are very excited about our new relationship with 5-time world triathlon champion Simon Lessing, who will provide on-site support to the CEOs at each event. We can hardly wait to get started!”
