Following an official unveiling in late 2008, High Five Events is now actively partnering with run shoe specialist, AVIA, in the run up to the Austin Triathlon.
2009 will mark the third edition of the Austin Triathlon and AVIA is on board as official running shoe partner and presenting sponsor of the event.
The 2009 Austin Triathlon will be held on Labor Day, on 7 September and the event is expected to cap at over 2,000 athletes.
The event is held on the front yard of Austin’s renowned Town Lake Hike and Bike trail, and the bike and run course feature challenging and spectator friendly loops through historic and eclectic downtown Austin, Texas. The event features Olympic and Sprint distance triathlons, and has earned a reputation as a well organised, fun, and athlete-centric event.
