Scott is following a new path to innovation by joining up with ‘innovation community’ Atizo in order to find new and innovative product solutions.
Atizo’s website, www.atizo.com, allows companies to generate solutions and ideas for new products. During a period of a few weeks, proposals from the Atizo community are placed on the Atizo website, in response to questions submitted by participating companies.
Thus, leveraging the ‘brain power of the innovators community’, an immediate feedback is delivered to support new product development. To tempt out the ideas of Atizo’s innovator community, prize money is offered.
Scott is cooperating with Atizo in order to build ‘a lot of fresh ideas’ in a short timespan. Currently, Scott has posted one question concerning bike helmets at Atizo.com. The company is looking for a solution to improve the size adjustment on bike helmets with a prize of CHF 1,000 (€652 / US$925) up for grabs and several bike helmets available to be won.
Scott’s question posted at Atizo.com refers specifically to size adaptation of bicycle helmets and asks the following:
‘How can a bicycle helmet be easily and exactly adjusted to the users’ head size and characteristics to optimize safety and comfort?’
