blueseventy PZ3 showcased at Kona

Over two years since the introduction of the pointzero3 swimsuit, blueseventy has relaunched the speedsuit/swimsuit concept with the blueseventy PZ3. The PZ3 is a speedsuit to be worn in non-wetsuit races and graced the torso of Ironman athletes at this year’s Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.

The new PZ3 features a new ‘quick exit’ zipper for faster changeover times. White material at the rear provides necessary cooling, and special inserts at the ankles ease the transition to the bike, particularly useful in the version with long legs.

Textile inserts provide necessary comfort, while using water-repellent SCS slick coating reduces the surface drag coefficient. The PZ3 also delivers high compression, improving posture and allowing for better position in the water.

The standard version of the PZ3 is expected to be available in February 2010 in the trade. The short legged variant is expected to be priced at approximately €220, with the version with long legs coming in at just under €270.

The Hawaii Ironman Kona Edition with Kona09 label and specific colour scheme shall also become available in 2010, with an expected retail price of €375 and availability likely by June.
