Heart rate and fitness monitoring specialist, Polar has expanded its active participation in efforts to improve healthcare in the United States. Under a partnership with America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), Polar will offer AHIP’s health plan members technology they can integrate into their wellness offerings. This will significantly increase the effectiveness and accountability of employee wellness programmes across the US.
Technology that captures and measures the physical activity of participants has recently been a focal point for health plans and employers who seek tangible data on the effectiveness of wellness solutions.
