Welsh Triathlon, in conjunction with the British Triathlon Federation (BTF), is looking to appoint a Development Manager for Wales.
According to the Welsh Triathlon website, the Development Manager will play a major role in the development of triathlon in Wales through commitment and personal drive. The role holder will have a natural talent for developing strong relationships and close collaborations with key individuals/clubs/other stakeholders, and the ability to facilitate and advise on the organisation of activities and events.
The successful candidate will be a keen triathlete or have a background in sports development, and have previous experience in a similar customer-oriented role. Strong influencing, communication and project leadership are essential skills for the role.
Welsh Triathlon is also looking to appoint an Office Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Welsh Triathlon Committee. In this instance, the contract will be on a fixed term (11 months) part-time basis (3-4 days per week). For the Office Coordinator role, the actual arrangement of the hours during the working week is flexible.
