Veteran online retailer, Mountains Plus has launched its new website, cyclocrossracing.com, and joined forces with Blue Competition Cycles, Rolf Prima Wheels and Hincapie Sportswear to create a new cyclocross team to compete at the US professional and grassroots level during the 2010/11 season.
“We are really excited to be able to put together a cross program of this size and calibre just prior to the launch of our new cyclocross site, cyclocrossracing.com,” said CyclocrossRacing.com owner Erik Viafore. “It represents a great opportunity to work with some of the best cross riders in the world while showcasing some of the amazing products by Blue Competition and Rolf Prima.”

The Professional Team will be racing on The Blue Norcross SL a virtual lugged T-800 high modulus carbon frameset weighing in at a light 1000g. The Blue Norcross line features include BB30, tapered headtubes and beefy carbon forks making for a stiff and powerful ride.
Rolf Prima will be putting the team on its new 58CX, a 1440g tubular wheel set that was designed just for cross with its reinforced rim and spoke count of 16/16.
