Applications are being invited for the role of Chair of the Triathlon England Management Board. The successful applicant will take up the post in January 2011 for a three year term concluding in December 2013 and will report directly to the Triathlon England Council.
The Triathlon England Management Board is responsible for the development of the sport of triathlon in England and, as such, the Chair must have:
• Good knowledge of how triathlon (and its related sports) are delivered
• An ability to work with and through others to meet deadlines
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Experience in chairing or leading a volunteer group
The role of Chair is a voluntary position but where relevant, reasonable agreed travel and subsistence expenses will be paid in line with the British Triathlon Federation expenses policy.
The closing date for applications is 6 December 2010. Interviews of shortlisted candidates are currently anticipated to take place in the week commencing 18 December 2010.
