The 2010 Ironman Western Australia triathlon, held in the scenic town of Busselton, Western Australia, will take place on Sunday 5 December 2010. Registration for the 2010 Ironman Western Australia event will open on Monday 1 February midday AEDT on IronmanWesternAustralia.com (US ET 8pm on Sunday 31 January).
The event is expected to reach capacity quickly. The entry fee will be A$650 for individual entry. More information on team/relay entry will be made available in the coming weeks.
The final event in the 2010 season, and the first in Australia owned and operated by World Triathlon Corporation (WTC), Ironman Western Australia will feature a fresh, new feel for the Ironman brand in the country. Enhancements will include updates to the race course, as well as additions to the carbo and awards banquets, among others.
Ironman Western Australia will offer 40 qualifying slots to the 2011 Ford Ironman World Championship, held in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
