K-Swiss, which has ramped up its involvement in triathlon in recent years, has confirmed a deal with Active Energy, a division of Accessory Exchange.
The deal sees Active Energy become the exclusive accessory licensee for K-Swiss – producing and distributing a range of K-Swiss branded accessories – including bags, headwear and socks.
Rich Stober will serve as President over the new division.
The collection of accessories is reportedly scheduled to hit retail shelves and online stores during the second quarter of 2011. Initial distribution will be focused on department stores, specialty sports retail and family sports/shoe chains.
"We have been actively seeking out the right partner to expand our accessory offering. We have found that partner in Accessory Exchange," said David Nichols, Executive Vice President of K-Swiss.
