Spanish cycling component manufacturer ROTOR Bike Components will supply both the Geox-TMC Transformers and the elite women’s Diadora-Pasta Zara pro cycling teams with its innovative products: Q-Rings oval chainrings, 3D cranks, both Press-Fit and BB1 bottom brackets, chain catchers and the ROTOR seat mast topper.
“We are very pleased to be part of this long-term project,” said Pablo Carrasco, ROTOR President and R&D Director.
“The agreement with Fuji and Geox-TMC Transformers will be for the next five years. We are expanding our range of products, with the focus on ROTOR becoming a global company.
“Fuji is an important part of a truly global corporation as well as a great bike manufacturer with whom to work in achieving our goals for growth.”
According to the company, the new ROTOR seat mast topper, developed for the Altamira frame, ‘is a good example of ROTOR’s ability for quality product development.’
Thanks to this sponsorship agreement, ROTOR will provide team riders with ‘materials that ensure biomechanical pedalling improvements, facilitating podium finishes in any kind of race.’
Carlos Sastre, a well known ROTOR user since he won the 2008 Tour de France on Q-Rings, and Denis Menchov, Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a España winner, will deliver valuable feedback on new products to ensure optimum testing before launch.
ROTOR is also happy to count on young talented riders such as Rafael Valls, Noe Gianetti, Fabio Felline and Arkaitz Duran whom it hopes to see develop along with ROTOR, creating both present and future champions.
