SWANS back in the UK

Having acquired the sole UK import and distribution rights for SWANS goggles in May – SOS Swim Shop, a family run business in Broadstone, Dorset, is raising the profile of the latest SWANS racing and performance goggles.

SWANS goggles are popular with competitive swimmers, swim clubs and triathletes. For nearly 100 years, SWANS has been a leading brand in the development of goggles and the company prides itself on its Japanese quality.

Olympic swimmer Cassie Patten wears SWANS goggles and won bronze in the 10K open water event in Beijing wearing the black and gold SR2M.

“I love SWANS because unlike most other goggles they are comfortable to wear straight away and don’t need to be worn in,” Cassie said. “The mirrored goggles are also really good at reflecting the sun, so when I’m swimming outside I can see where I’m going and don’t squint.”

SOS Swim Shop is relishing its association SWANS and offers a full range of goggles from high performance to high comfort. There are many different goggles in the range:

• Low profile – for hydrodynamics
• Prescription – for any consumer with a minus prescription
• Polarized – refracts the light for swimming outside or bright pools
• Mirrored lens
• Clear lens

General sports, swim and triathlon retailers can get a free sample of the goggles by contacting SOS Swim Shop. The distributor also has a special price list for trade buyers seeking to make SWANS goggles an asset in their retail outlets.

SWANS is a brand of Japanese eyewear manufacturer Yamamoto Kogaku Co Ltd, located in Osaka, Japan.

Founded in 1911, the company produces and sells optical lenses, sunglasses, goggles, as well as safety glasses. The sports eyewear brand SWANS includes sunglasses, ski and snowboard goggles, as well as helmets and swim goggles.
