The Cycle Show 2011 is ready to open its doors this week and celebrate its 10 year anniversary at the show’s new venue, the NEC, Birmingham, UK. Taking place from 29 September to 2 October, a number of new company and product launches are also gearing up for launch on the trade day and subsequent ‘open to public’ days:
- The Smart Products Company BV, which also produces the Rainlegs brand, is introducing a new and innovative solution for commuters who prefer to stay dry and clean in all weather conditions: the one-piece all weather cycling suit, the BikeSuit.
- ProForm will introduce the Official Tour de France Training Bike.
- Sunwise, ‘the only British sports sunglass range’, will launch its 2012 catalogue at the Cycle Show 2011. New models will be available to view and to pre-order.
- The life saving work of St John Ambulance, will be on show. Visitors to stand M11 will have the chance to see the award winning St John Ambulance Cycle Response Units and find out about the work of the organisation’s operational cyclists.
- Wattbike will showcase its recently launched Power Cycling initiative, a new concept in indoor group cycling for the health and fitness sector, backed by British Cycling, the national governing body for cycling.
- RAW Bamboo Bikes will be launching its first UK built bike at this year’s Cycle Show. The frame, which is BS EN test certified is constructed using bamboo tubes and advanced jointing technology using hemp fibre, which has strength and flexibility to compliment the stiffness and durability of bamboo.
- Dare 2b is launching its spring/summer 2012 multisport SS12 collection, which includes a core cycle wear range of jerseys, leg wear, wind shells and waterproofs.
- The Gorilla Firm is on show. For ‘new and used adrenaline sports gear’ the Gorilla Firm is a brand new website for anyone who wants to sell or buy their bike gear, and listing stuff is completely free.
- The event has a new-look Cycle Store area. The Cycle Store has been enlarged and improved for this year’s show. It is located right in front of the main exit, ensuring that it will not be missed by trade and consumer visitors alike.
- HiVisBike.com will be launching ‘new, never seen before products’… Accessories designed to make bicycles and therefore the cyclist more visible to more road users.
