The 2011 British Triathlon Event Organisers Conference will take place on Saturday 12 February 2011 at Sandown Park, Esher, Surrey.
The conference will be run alongside the Triathlon, Cycle, Run Show (TCR Show), the leading multisport exhibition in the UK. All individuals attending the BTF Event Organisers Conference will receive free entry to the TCR Show during the lunch period and also the following day (Sunday 13 February).
The conference is open to all triathlon event organisers in the UK from club organisers to commercial organisations, who permit their events through the Home Nations. The subjects and topics covered during the course of the day will be relevant and useful to all, regardless of the scale of events organised. This year a variety of subjects and topics will be covered:

• Event environmental sustainability
• British Triathlon overview
• Event accreditation update
• Marketing of your event
• How to gain sponsorship
Alongside the above topics, John Lunt Triathlon Manager for the London Olympics will be giving a Q&A session and an update on the progress of the London 2012 Olympic Triathlon.
The conference is designed to give all event organisers the opportunity to benefit from the experience and knowledge of guest speakers, gain up to date information and understand the importance of issues faced by event organisers across the UK.
The conference will also give multisport event organisers the opportunity to network, with industry experts and fellow organisers, share experiences and learn from others.
