Adding to its autumn/winter apparel collection, Campagnolo Sportwear’s new apparel lines, the Challenge Lady collection and Challenge Tech Motion mens range, are being rolled out at a time ‘when weather conditions seem more hostile to outdoor activity.’
Challenge Lady range:
- The Sprint windproof jacket is made of Thermo Textran fabric, which is reportedly exclusive to Campagnolo, and is windproof, elastic and breathable.
- The Power long sleeve jersey has a long zipper, with thermal properties, is elastic, breathable and anti-bacterial.
- The Force bib tights are made with raised woven bi-stretch technological fabric with hollow micro filaments in order to guarantee thermal insulation and a high level of perspiration control.
The Challenge Tech Motion mens range comes with an extensive offering for 2011-12:
- The Fiber waterproof jacket is billed as being ‘completely heat sealed, breathable, windproof and with a high degree of warmth.’
- The Kripton windproof jacket is a water repellent jacket, which is thermal, windproof and highly breathable. The special Eschler fabric with laminated Pu foam, guarantees body temperature adjustment; it is characterised by a W.R. (water repellent) treatment that also guarantees protection from the first drops of rain.
- As with the Kripton windproof jacket, the Campagnolo Velvet windproof jacket is billed as being windproof and highly breathable. The Velvet also makes use of the special Eschler fabric with laminated Pu foam, and has a water repellent treatment.
- The Synthesis full zip jersey is made with Dual Face fabric, characterised by a very elastic and soft polyamide thread on the external side and by a special polyester thread on the internal side. The side inserts are made in Thermo Roubaix fabric with Interpower treatment in order to increase breathability.
- As with the Synthesis full zip jersey, the Ozon half zip jersey makes use of Dual Face fabric and Thermo Roubaix fabric with Interpower treatment.
- Campagnolo’s Gemini bib tights utilise a ‘bi-stretch raised woven Lycra that is highly technical, thermal breathable and bacteriostatic.’ The back insert is in Piquet microfibre fabric to ‘guarantee and increase perspiration’. The clothing is equipped with the Pro version Tri-ProPad anatomical padding, patented by Campagnolo Sportswear.
