Endurance Sports Expo returns to Mid-Atlantic for the 2011 season

The second annual Endurance Sports Expo – the Mid-Atlantic region’s premier cycling, running and triathlon expo – returns on 26-27 February to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pennsylvania.

Official event sponsors to date include WHYY, USA Triathlon, Fuji, Kestrel, the SheROX Triathlon Series and PHLYTRI.

More than twice the size of last year’s event, the 2011 Endurance Sports Expo will host over 200 national and local vendors, brands, events and endurance sports personalities helping area athletes find the latest equipment, training services and event information for 2011.

The first 750 attendees each day will receive a sweet bag full of swag from vendors and sponsors.

The Endurance Sports Expo is owned and run by High Road Cycles of Wayne and Doylestown, Pennsylvania and Liberty Sports Magazine – the region’s local guide to cycling, running, swimming and triathlon.

According to the event organisers, for athletes looking to gear up for the 2011 season, there is only one place to go to find the latest running gear, ride the hottest road and mountain bikes, see the newest triathlon products, find out about great events and organizations, and learn from industry experts.

"Whether you’re a cyclist, runner or a triathlete, the Endurance Sports Expo is a can’t-miss event if you’re looking to improve your performance in 2011," said Matt Reese, co-producer of the Endurance Sports Expo.

"With our expanded space, additional vendors and brands, outdoor demo area, Endurance University, and special guests there is truly something for every endurance athlete!"

Nationally recognized professional and Olympic athletes, coaches and industry insiders will share their expertise all weekend long at ‘Endurance University’ educational seminars. The full Endurance U schedule and guest appearances will be announced in the next few weeks.

The 2011 Expo will also feature an extensive outdoor demo area where athletes can take a spin on the latest road, mountain and tri models from major and independent brands. With access to the expansive Perkiomen Trail (weather permitting), attendees will have the chance to test the latest bikes in real-world conditions.

For those looking to connect with a community group or organisation, this year’s expo will also host an entire hallway of complimentary booth space – The Specialized Advocacy Main Street – for non-profit and bicycle advocacy groups thanks to a Specialized USA Dealer Grant and High Road Cycles.

Additional details regarding exhibitors, Endurance U courses and special guest appearances will be announced in the coming weeks.

Advance tickets for attendees are priced at US$8 (US$10 at the door).
