Outside Labs, in collaboration with Nupur Formulations Inc, a leader in high performance suncare, wound care and muscle maintenance for athletes, has formalized a partnership with the 2010 Ironman World Champion Mirinda ‘Rinny’ Carfrae.
Carfrae joins the current family of SCAPE athletes, which includes two-time Ironman World Champion Craig Alexander, pro triathlete Linsey Corbin, pro surfer Reef McIntosh and pro big wave surfer Jamie Sterling.
SCAPE Athlete Sunblock protects Carfrae’s skin from cancer and sun-damage as the product utilizes the highest UVA protection available. The unique noncomedogenic formula also allows the skin to breathe naturally so the body’s core temperature does not rise artificially to interfere with her training and racing.
SCAPE also features high-tech polymers that bond to the skin to create a product that claims to be five times more waterproof than leading sport sunblocks to provide longer lasting sun protection during activity, including an Ironman race.
