ROTOR Bike Components has witnessed the victory of its new 56t Aero Q-Ring on the very day of its launch, at the Tour of Belgium Prologue. Lieuwe Westra (Vacansoleil-DCM), a strong time trial specialist, proved the effectiveness of the Spanish component company’s chainring by delivering a win on its first day of racing.
“Professional rider feed-back is crucial to product development and success,” said Pablo Carrasco, ROTOR’s Chief Engineer and co-founder.
“Some of the strong time trial riders in our teams asked us for bigger Q-Rings when they found the 54t Q-Ring too easy to manage. Convinced about a bigger gearing increasing the victory possibilities; we designed one for them.”
Following this successful competition launch, ROTOR’s new 55 & 56 Aero Q-Rings will be ready for aftermarket launch within a month. This increased product range for strong TT riders and triathletes is expected to expand the market success of Q-Rings even further.
