Scott Sports has presented a new addition to the Scott Sports international triathlon line-up, as Sebastian Kienle from Germany joins the Scott team.
Kienle, who signs through to 2013 with Scott Sports, is billed as ‘the shooting star in the European triathlon scene.’
Kienle has caught the attention of the triathlon world with some of his strong performances. In 2009 he won the Ironman 70.3 Wiesbaden race while he held off 70.3 World Champion Michael Raelert, also due to his great strength on the bike.
Most recently he pushed himself to a 4:14:07 bike split and a second place in less than 8 hours at the 2010 Challenge Roth triathlon.
Scott Sports will provide the world record holder for the fastest bike split over 180K and best rookie in a long-distance debut, with the Plasma Premium, which will be equipped with components from co-sponsors Shimano, such as the Di2 groupset and C50 wheels.
Kienle will also be seen on Scott’s bike accessories collection, including the new Vanish Air Helmet and Scott Road Premium shoes.
