SKINS recognises triathlon as one of the toughest sports on the planet. As a result, the company sees its tie-up with ITU as the perfect opportunity to demonstrate the difference SKINS can make to improving strength, endurance and recovery for competitors.
SKINS will have expo stands at all Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Series events. This will provide an opportunity for competitors and spectators alike to talk to SKINS staff about the company’s 400 Series and TRI400 tri range.
With ground-breaking live online coverage, the 2011 Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Series is ‘back and even better’ this year.
In addition to the renewal of SKINS as a compression partner, the series has welcomed a number of new sponsors. Chain Reaction recently got on board as the Official Online Bicycle Store sponsor of the Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Series.
In March, Oakley was unveiled as the Official Global Eyewear Sponsor; while, in February, Rock-It Cargo signed up as Official Transport Logistic Services partner to the series.
The ITU World Championship Series is one of the most important events in the international triathlon calendar.
In 2011, top triathletes will compete at seven events around the world – including three top Olympic courses – each vying for the generous prize money of US$150,000 per event, with the Grand Final in Beijing offering US$250,000. An additional US$500,000 will be up for grabs in the year-end bonus pool.
