Skirt Sports has added to its roster of athlete ambassadors with its sponsorship of professional triathlete Hillary Biscay.
The company, which is the inventor of the original fitness skirt and is a key player in the women’s fitness apparel industry recently signed professional ultra-marathon athlete Jamie Donaldson.
Biscay joins Skirt Sports with 47 Iron-distance triathlon finishes in her professional career.

A resident of Tucson, Arizona, Biscay originally hails from California where she discovered her first love, swimming, and completed her master’s degree in English at the University of Southern California.
In 2000, she competed in the US Olympic Swimming Trials in the 200m breaststroke and has raced as a professional triathlete since 2005.
Biscay’s professional resume includes a 2008 Ironman Wisconsin victory, five 2nd place Iron-distance finishes, fifteen Iron-distance top three finishes and a 2nd place finish at the 2010 Ultraman World Championship.
She is also the first woman to record six top five Ironman finishes in one season, in 2006. In 2011, Biscay is slated to compete at such prestigious races as the Oceanside 70.3, Ironman Coeur d’Alene and the Rev3 series.
Whether training or racing, Biscay’s go-to products from Skirt Sports are the Marathon Girl Ultra Skirt, Multi Sport Tank, Wonder Girl Dress and Ice Queen Jacket.
