TrainingPeaks named a Bicycle Friendly Business

Global online multisport coaching specialist, TrainingPeaks has announced that The League of American Bicyclists recently named TrainingPeaks a Bronze Bicycle Friendly Business (BFB). TrainingPeaks now joins the ranks of the other 252 BFBs working to increase bicycle friendliness in the workplace.

“We are happy to recognize TrainingPeaks for their investment in bicycling as a vehicle for improved employee health, social responsibility and economic growth,” said League President, Andy Clarke. “Some of the most successful companies in the world are showing that investing in bicycling is not only good for health and sustainability but also the bottom line.”

Businesses that strive to become bicycle friendly do more than improve the workplace. They contribute to their community, reduce their carbon footprint, ease road congestion and improve the overall quality of life for team members.

TrainingPeaks encourages bicycling as an easy option for transportation and provides amenities such as indoor bike storage, locker rooms, group rides with team members and professional cyclists as well as a Fitness Benefit that provides reimbursement for cycling gear or related activities.

“As a company founded on a passion for cycling, it’s a great pleasure for TrainingPeaks to accept the Bicycle Friendly Business award,” said Gear Fisher, Co-Founder and CEO of TrainingPeaks. “We nurture our employees’ love of cycling each day with the unique benefits we provide and the endurance training products we collectively develop.”
