Having established an enviable reputation as one of the world’s largest and most iconic triathlon events, the Virgin Active London Triathlon boasts a world class field of elite athletes and up to 13,000 dedicated competitors. The annual event regularly attracts a 30,000 strong crowd concentrated around the ExCeL arena in the London Docklands area.
Having won the 220 Triathlon award for an incredible 7 years running, Wiggle has become synonymous among the triathlon market as a one-stop-shop for triathletes. The London Triathlon is not just renowned for attracting the best racers. Last year’s London Triathlon saw World Champion, Jenson Button exchange the Formula 1 cockpit for the saddle closely followed by Radio 1 DJ and TV presenter, Vernon Kay, making his triathlon debut.
This year Wiggle has decided to help a whole host of celebrities with their triathlon transitions by providing them with Focus Cayo road bikes. The likes of Oritse Williams from chart toppers JLS and Heart FM’s Toby Anstis will be ‘tri-ing’ to stay ahead of the pack on their new carbon Cayo race machines.
