General entry for the 2012 Ironman 70.3 Port Macquarie event – taking place on Sunday 28 October 2012 – will open on Wednesday 1 February at 11am AEDT.
The event again serves as the Ironman 70.3 Australian Age-Group Championship, with the top finishers in each age-group receiving an opportunity to enter the sold out Ironman events in Port Macquarie and Melbourne. More details on these invitations will be available at IronmanPortMacquarie.com in early January.
The 2012 Ironman 70.3 Port Macquarie event features 25 qualifying slots to the 2013 Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Lake Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as P-750 status for professional athletes.
