Following the extreme heat experienced at the last two Challenge Vichy races in France, the date for the 2013 race has been changed in an attempt to provide more optimal long distance triathlon racing conditions.
Initially scheduled for 18 August 2013, in cooperation with the City of Vichy, ETU and the Challenge Family, Challenge Vichy 2013 has now been rescheduled two weeks later and will take place on 1 September 2013 when Challenge Vichy will host the ETU European Long Distance Championships.
