The UK’s first Festival of Sport Cornwall takes place on 14-16 September 2012 in Mount’s Bay, West Cornwall and Chain Reaction Cycles (CRC) will be on hand to ensure the festival is ‘delivered to a world-class level’ as the Official Retail Partner of this new multisport/festival event.
Triathletes, cyclists, swimmers and runners of all abilities are invited to the new UK destination event, which is supporting the Wings for Life Spinal Cord Research Foundation. Competitors can take part in a combination of triathlon, road sportive, open water swimming and beach runs as well as enjoy live music, beach sports plus much more festival fun – with events situated over some of the most entrancing coastal landscapes in Britain.
St Michael’s Mount will provide a spectacular backdrop to the Festival of Sport Cornwall. With distances on offer to cater for all abilities, the schedule of events will also allow competitors to enter various activities over the weekend. Triathletes can warm up for their Olympic distance triathlon with an open water swim the day before and sportive riders can tackle a beach run over the weekend too.
Chain Reaction Cycles will provide mechanical support to riders at the festival village and out on the road during the events. The Chain Reaction Cycles sports therapy massage service will also be a welcome addition for tired riders, runners and swimmers. For those looking for some bike retail therapy, CRC will also have a wide selection of components and consumables across the weekend at ‘very special prices’.
