Spanish skin care company Galius will be an official sponsor of Team Raleigh in 2013, supplying the pro cycling team with its Sport Sun Creams and Professional Massage Oils, Gels and Creams. The sponsorship of Team Raleigh will be used by Raleigh to further support and enhance its exclusive distribution and sales of Galius products to the cycle market.
Team members and masseurs will benefit from being provided with Galius Sun high performance sunscreens and aftersun moisturising products as well as Galius Sport professional massage oils, gels and creams.
Geoff Giddings, Raleigh Marketing Director said “With such a demanding racing program and ambitious plans for the year ahead, our Team Raleigh riders need high quality protection from the elements and professional care products for their muscles and limbs. With the backing of Galius’s performance level skin care products we can be confident that our riders’ health care needs are in safe hands.”
Galius’s Manager, Miguel Guillen added “Sponsorship of Pro Cycle Teams is a very important part our brand building and we are extremely pleased to support Team Raleigh along with our sponsorship of the Movistar Pro Cycle Team, which helps towards profiling the brand in the UK.”
This latest sponsorship deal with Team Raleigh follows confirmation earlier this year that Galius Sun will be sponsoring four times ITU World Duathlon Champion and two time ITU European Duathlon Champion Cat Morrison, by supplying her with its range of sports sun creams and massage oils during 2012.
After a highly successful 2012, Team Raleigh has undergone a significant rebuild as part of its planned progression, bringing in a number of strong and experienced riders to complete a formidable line up for 2013.
