The organizing team at Star Events’ owned GranFondo has confirmed a move of the Los Angeles event to avoid congestion. With the location change also comes a date change, and GranFondo Los Angeles is now taking place on Sunday 15 July.

A GranFondo start originating on the iconic Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills brought much glamour and hype to the inaugural GranFondo Los Angeles event in 2011. Through careful review of rider feedback and safety concerns faced on a heavily congested Wilshire Boulevard, the event has been moved to the serene setting offered at Saddlerock Ranch at Malibu Family Wines. The beautiful setting within the vineyard offers a pristine backdrop to start and end the ride and is perfectly suited to host friends, family and guests who will attend to support their favorite rider.
Gran Fondo meaning Big Ride in Italian, are long distance, mass-participation cycling events – not races – that thrive across Italy. The GranFondo Series in the US is now in its second season, with the GranFondo Los Angeles cycling experience beginning in the heart of the famous Beverly Hills.
