IPC Media, owner of the UK’s market leading cycling titles Cycling Weekly, Cycling Active, Cycle Sport and Cycling Fitness, has confirmed that Italian road racing legend Mario Cipollini will be opening the Road Cycling Show at Sandown Park, Esher, on Saturday 21 April.
Former World Road Race Champion; multiple Tour de France, Tour of Italy and Tour of Spain stage winner and ‘living legend’ Mario Cipollini will be cutting the ribbon to open the Road Cycling Show on Saturday at 09.30 GMT.
Thanks to Paligap, UK importers of MCipollini frames, ‘Super’ Mario will be at the show to meet fans, sign autographs and answer questions on the Cycling Weekly stand on Saturday morning. Mario will also be on the Paligap stand where the 2012 range of MCipollini frames and clothing will be on display.
The Road Cycling Show will also feature seminar theatres, interviews with top riders, trade and retail stands, criterium races on the Saturday afternoon and a multi distance sportive on Sunday. More details are to be announced in the next few days ahead of the show this coming weekend.
