The latest release from cycling apparel specialist Moa Sport/Nalini notes that, once again, nearly half the riders in the 2012 professional peloton and racing in the Giro d’Italia, Tour de France and Vuelta de Espana will be wearing technically advanced, made-in-Italy apparel from Nalini and Moa Sport.
For pro cycling fans across the US looking to emulate their favourite riders, US distributor Albabici will be importing all Nalini and Moa Sport replica team apparel.

Nalini will also supply team apparel to the UCI Continental teams of Columbia Coldeportes and Idea Conad, while Moa Sports will likewise supply the UCI Continential team of Raleigh-CAC. Also, Nalini is continuing to offer its popular historic Carrera kits (denim design and all!) as used by Marco Pantani in the 1990s.
Nalini, a brand of Moa Sport, has been manufacturing cycling sportswear for four decades, running a vertical manufacturing operation, from fabric development to finished garments. Located in Castel d’Ario, Italy (south of Verona), all Nalini/Moa Sport production is undertaken in Italy.
According to the company, a pro cyclist typically requires up to 60 individual pieces of clothing, from bibshorts and jerseys to shoe covers and gloves. A change in design – an additional sponsor, for example – would typically require a replacement of up to 60 new pieces.
The feedback and experience that Nalini gains from working with pro riders goes directly into the design of its apparel collections for every-day riders.
