German wetsuit brand Sailfish and TriStar are continuing a cooperation on the TriStar Mallorca event. This year, Sailfish will again be official supplier for swim caps and wetsuits at TriStar Mallorca 2012 in Porto Colom on 15 April.
The extended deal with TriStar on the Spanish island continues Sailfish’s expansion in Spain. The brand is the headline sponsor of the Sailfish Berga Triathlon in September 2012; it has had increased visibility via local distributor Speed Inc; and has steadily proven popular with the growing band of age groupers and elite triathletes across the country.
At TriStar Mallorca 2012, Sailfish offers all participants the opportunity to test Sailfish wetsuits during the official swim training in the start area (Saturday 14 April 2012, 10:00-12:00 CET). The brand is also on show at the event expo with trained staff offering swim tips and wetsuit fitting. In addition, TriStar Mallorca 2012 participants can rent a Sailfish wetsuit for the event.
For Sailfish wetsuit rental during TriStar Mallorca:
- At registration and the triathlon expo, Sailfish is represented with a booth on both Saturday 14 April and Sunday 15 April
- Wetsuit pick up is available on Saturday 14 April from 10:00-19:00, with wetsuits available for testing and for race hire at the Tristar Mallorca event
- Rental fees and deposits should be made in cash, as cards or other means of payment won’t be accepted
The rental fee will be:
- Sailfish Vibrant €50 and €150 deposit
- Sailfish Attack €60 and €240 deposit
- Sailfish One €70 and €330 deposit
- Sailfish G-Range €80 and €420 deposit
After the event (on Sunday afternoon) athletes can return the suit to the Sailfish booth and get their deposit back; or alternatively keep the suit, with the paid rental fee and deposit automatically becoming the purchase price.
