Triathlon Business International (TBI) (previously named Triathlon America), the ‘industry organization dedicated to promoting the sport and the business of triathlon worldwide’, has announced that its third annual conference will once again take place in San Diego, California. The third outing of the event will be on 9-12 February 2013 at the luxurious Rancho Bernardo Inn.
Additionally, this summer, TBI has announced discounted pricing for its members and non-members:
- Summertime savings – registration through to 30 September 2012: members – US$495, non-members – US$595
- Fall/autumn special – registration from 1 October through to 15 December 2012: members – US$595, non-members – US$795
- Holiday savings – registration from 16 December 2012 through to 15 January 2013: members – US$695, non-members – US$895
- Final call – 16 January through to 10 February 2013: members – US$795, non-members – US$995.
“The positive feedback we received from attendees both verbally and in our post-conference survey was one of the deciding factors to holding the 2013 conference at Rancho Bernardo Inn,” said Jack Caress, President of TBI. “The location, venue and accommodations are second to none and we look forward to making next year’s conference our most informative and valuable yet.”
Devoted to the sport and business of triathlon, hundreds of attendees from race organizations, manufacturers, retailers, service providers and more attended the 2012 conference in February. The 2012 event featured an impressive lineup of keynote speakers, networking events, as well as seminars and industry panels.
The final night of the conference is highlighted by an awards celebration honouring the best companies, programs and athletes in the triathlon industry from the previous year.
