For more than nine years, Initiative Mittelstand in Germany has awarded companies’ innovative IT-solutions. The ‘Best of 2012 – Innovationspreis IT’ Award is held under the auspices of the Federal Commissioner for IT in Germany and IBM Germany GmbH.
The Innovationspreis IT awards committee, which has more than 100 experts, chose the Wahoo Fitness BlueHR from a field of over 2,500 applicants in the category of consumer electronics. The BlueHR heart rate belt turns an iPhone in a powerful training computer and ensures a direct data connection to the iPhone 4S for the first time.
With the relevant Apps (such as Wahoo Fitness, available via the iTunes Store) athletes can display their heart rate during physical activities directly on their iPhone 4S without any additional adapters.
Wahoo Fitness products are distributed in Europe by the German company NC-17 Europe GmbH.
