The European Specialist Sports Nutrition Alliance (ESSNA) has announced that leading sports nutrition companies Arla Foods Ingredients, Athlete King Sports Nutrition and BULK POWDERS have joined its membership.
The three companies join ESSNA’s growing membership of manufacturers, distributors and suppliers committed to meeting full regulatory compliance, high safety standards and upholding EU regulations on the content and labelling of sports nutrition products. This latest development follows Future Nutrition and CytoSport joining ESSNA in recent weeks.
ESSNA has recently launched a campaign to educate decision makers and the public, and to correct popular misconceptions of sports nutrition. It’s new booklet, ‘What is Sports Nutrition?’, sets out the regulations and safety requirements that the sector is required to uphold.
