City Bikes Ironman 70.3 Miami has confirmed Compressport as the Official Compression Wear of the Miami-based event. Miami Tri Events, the event organiser, has in recent months built up its sponsor roster, having previously announced its partnership with local retail sponsor Fit2Run and confirmed UnitedHealthcare as the event’s Official Health & Wellness partner.
City Bikes Ironman 70.3 Miami will take place on 27 October at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami. This unique event is highly anticipated, with registrations close to being sold out once again.
Born in Switzerland in 2008, Compressport offers seamless products specially designed and developed for different muscle groups. Developed in Switzerland, all products are manufactured in Europe.
In tandem with its expansion in the key US multisport market, the company’s goal is ‘to develop high quality products to become the benchmark compression brand for the wide world of sports, whether it is to improve performance, enhance recovery or to help all athletes travel in the best comfort possible.’
Compressport products arose from a collaboration between doctors, athletes and manufacturers specializing in medical compression wear. The manufacturing processes guarantees the suitable level of compression for the use of the product.
The company uses the Salzmann group in Switzerland for the measurement and validation of compression classes on all its products. Salzmann’s test apparatus is internationally recognized for measuring compression.
Earlier this year, Compressport signed a new partnership with UCI Pro Tour Team Katusha. Starting with the Giro d’Italia, the Katusha team wears a limited-edition range of Compressport’s products that have been manufactured in the team’s blue and red official colours.
