ENDEVR ties up partnership with Ironman for Kona 2013

ENDEVR, a creator of innovative health and wellness products, has been named official athletic gear sponsor for one of the most prestigious races on the global triathlon calendar – the Ironman World Championships.

ENDEVR’s StrengthTape and MyID adorned with the Ironman logo will be the official athletic tape and medical wristband at the October Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.

The ENDEVR MyID is a customizable medical wristband that stores vital information with an optimized QR code that is easily accessible for a complete medical profile in a time of emergency. ENDEVR’s StrengthTape is an athletic tape that provides support and stability for muscles, joints and tendons without limiting the range of motion for athletes.

According to ENDEVR, the unique feature of StrengthTape is ‘its amazing ability to be worn for up to seven days and withstand any extreme condition including water training.’ One of the reasons Ironman athletes are expected to embrace StrengthTape is its unique ability to stick through an entire Ironman event.

John Duke, Vice President of Global Sales for Ironman, said “We are thrilled to be partnered with ENDEVR. The innovative ENDEVR Ironman identification bracelet provides first responders the critical information they need to make the best treatment decisions, should the unfortunate happen while training. It is a ‘must have’ for all athletes.”

In October, ENDEVR Ironman StrengthTape and ENDEVR Ironman MyID medical wristbands will be made available in select Target, Walgreens, and Kroger stores nationwide across the US as well as at ENDEVR.com.

The MyID will be priced at US$40.00. The StrengthTape will be priced at US$9.99 for two pre-cut kits and US$14.99 for a 5 metre roll.

ENDEVR reps will be at the competition in Kona providing support by taping athletes with StrengthTape to ‘help them extract every ounce of energy from their body and use it as efficiently as possible.’
