From 28-31 August, the leading names of the international bicycle industry will once again meet at the Eurobike 2013 exhibition grounds in Friedrichshafen, Germany. The organisers note that new arrivals and trends will be highlighted in the media, and numerous high-profile products will be exhibited on Lake Constance.
A full range of cycling destinations will once again be represented at this year’s Eurobike. The upcoming edition of the exhibition will also feature a classic cycling region for the first time: the Austrian state of Tyrol is the main tourism partner of Eurobike 2013.
More than 1,200 exhibitors, 40,000 trade visitors from over 100 countries, 20,000 cycling consumers and nearly 2,000 journalists are expected to attend. The leading global trade show on Lake Constance will be open to trade visitors on the first three days of the exhibition, and on Saturday 31 August, the doors will be opened to the public.
“Eurobike is a meeting place for business and the cycling scene, as well as a platform for new arrivals,” stated Messe Friedrichshafen CEO Klaus Wellmann and Eurobike Project Manager Stefan Reisinger. “Lake Constance is where new trends for the upcoming season are kicked off and presented to the public.”
Both are confident that this major cycling show on Lake Constance is a must for the international bicycle industry, with its full range of everyday, sport and e-bike offerings.
Eurobike Demo Day
Trade visitors and journalists can get a sneak preview of the latest innovations in the bicycle industry one day before the start of the show, on Tuesday 27 August. More than 100 international exhibitors will be on hand at the seventh Demo Day to show off their latest products to trade visitors and offer test rides.
A complete program
The international bicycle exhibition not only covers the entire spectrum of sport and city bicycles, but also features a prominent showing of e-bikes as well as opportunities for test rides. In addition to the Demo Day, the Eurobike Award will once again highlight the most innovative products. The Fashion Show, Bike Course, Travel Talk and Holiday on Bike are all among the show’s regular attractions; and the Austrian region of Tyrol will present itself as a cycling destination and in 2013 is the main tourism partner of Eurobike.
The international bicycle trade show Eurobike is open to trade visitors from Wednesday 28 August through to Friday 30 August, from 08:30 to 18:30 CET, and is open to the public on Saturday 31 August from 09:00 to 18:00. Eurobike Demo Day will take place on Tuesday 27 August, from 10:00 to 17:00 in the town of Argenbühl in the Allgäu region.
