Leading endurance sports nutrition brand High5 has a competition currently under way that is offering up a coveted starting slot at the iconic DATEV Challenge Roth triathlon in Germany. In addition, the lucky winner will scoop £300 of High5 products.
The Facebook promotion asks for a simple ‘Like’ via the High5 Facebook page and a simple question answered about High5’s Advanced Nutrition Guides. Competition entries are limited to the following countries: the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Denmark, Norway and Finland.
The competition ends at midnight on 21 November 2013. The winner will receive entry to Challenge Roth alongside a sizeable bundle of High5 nutrition. Accommodation, travel and any other costs getting to the event are not included.
All starting places for next year’s DATEV Challenge Roth in Germany, which takes place on 20 July 2014, sold out in record time this summer. On Monday 22 July the online registration process launched at precisely 10:00 local time. No more than 2 minutes and 9 seconds later all of the available places for German athletes were gone. After 3 minutes and 15 seconds all slots for foreign athletes had gone too.
All the relay places for DATEV Challenge Roth 2014 are also booked up. Right after the online registration process had been launched, there was a real run for the relay places, and they were all gone after 50 seconds.
There is one last opportunity to secure a coveted spot to Challenge Roth on 6 December as part of the annual Christmas Charity Fundraiser run by the Challenge Family. So, the High5 Facebook competition is certainly timely given the high level of demand for the event.
Linked with its Challenge Roth Facebook competition, High5’s Advanced Nutrition Guides have been designed to help athletes ‘race faster and to finish a personal challenge stronger with a smile on your face.’
Applying the latest scientific knowledge and feedback from thousands of athletes, High5 has developed these practical step-by-step nutrition guides for many sports. They take into account an athlete’s body-weight, event distance, race day weather and sweat rates.
