Newton Running, the official footwear and run course sponsor of the Ironman US Series, is launching a limited-edition Ironman Elite Trainer in celebration of this coming weekend’s GoPro Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i.
Newton Running sponsored pro triathletes Craig ‘Crowie’ Alexander, a five-time Ironman World Champion and Britain’s Rachel Joyce, ‘a rising star poised for greatness’, will both be gunning for the podium wearing personalized versions of the Ironman Elite Trainer bearing their names.
“Newton Running got its start by selling shoes at Ironman events, so to become the organization’s official footwear sponsor and partner of the Ironman Foundation’s ambassador triathlon team seven years later is a true honour,” said Newton Running President Craig Heisner.
“To celebrate, we produced 3,000 pairs of the Ironman Elite shoe, which will be on sale at select Ironman events and on our website, which we expect to sell out quickly.”
