Polar Bottle doubles up donations to celebrate Colorado Gives Day

On Tuesday 10 December, Polar Bottle will join fellow businesses and citizens around the state of Colorado in recognizing Colorado Gives Day — an annual charity fundraising drive that last year raised around US$15.7 million for Colorado non-profit organisations.

The fundraiser, presented by Community First Foundation and FirstBank, aims to increase philanthropy in Colorado by creating an easy system for donating online to Colorado non-profit organizations. For the second year in a row year, Polar Bottle will participate by doubling the donation from four Polar Bottle ‘Benefit Bottles’ supporting Colorado charities.

The Polar Bottle Benefit Bottles are sold exclusively on the Polar Bottle online store for US$14.99, with a portion of the profits donated back to a range of non-profits and advocacy groups. Normally Polar Bottle donates US$5 per unit sold back to the organization represented on the bottle.

For Colorado Gives Day on 10 December, however, the company will double its donation from select bottles representing charities that directly support Colorado and its citizens. For one day only, Polar Bottle will donate US$10 instead of US$5 for every Amy Dombroski Memorial, Bicycle Racing Association of Colorado, Epilepsy Awareness and ReGrow Colorado benefit bottle sold.

The patented Polar Bottle features an insulating layer between two walls of plastic, so it ‘keeps liquids cool twice as long as other water bottles.’ The Made in America bottles are produced in Boulder, Colorado, and are BPA- and phthalate- free.
