Polartec, the developer, manufacturer and marketer of Polartec performance fabrics, has announced a new partnership in technical fabrics for Dorel Inc’s Canadian bike and run apparel brand SUGOI. Designed and tested in the unforgiving conditions of British Columbia, SUGOI is launching a global line of outerwear and insulation pieces using Polartec technical fabric solutions ‘for maximum athletic performance’.
Made of a lightweight, drapable version of Polartec NeoShell, billed as the most breathable waterproof fabric on the market, the RSE and RSX jackets are designed to be the world’s driest, most breathable outerwear for wet weather cycling, featuring cycling-specific cuts for fit and function.
The RSE, designed for road riding, and the RSX, designed for off-road riding, are fully waterproof and breathable thanks to NeoShell’s ‘two-way air exchange’, while remaining 99.9% windproof.

Made of Polartec Power Stretch, the RSR Race Top and RSR Race Tight are designed to be the ultimate pro-fit race top and bottom for next-to-skin comfort that moves with the body while providing protection from the elements. Polartec Power Stretch fabric enhances mobility, provides warmth without weight, and quick-drying performance for comfort.
