The Endurance Sports Expo – ‘the largest cycling, running and triathlon consumer show in the US’ – has confirmed that Walton Endurance and BodyArmor SuperDrink have signed on to co-sponsor the series of Endurance University educational seminars included at each of this year’s Expos.
Former professional cyclist and Olympic medallist Brian Walton, President of Walton Endurance, will lead the overall direction of the seminar schedule for the three Expos.
(The Endurance Sports Expo has expanded to three shows in 2013. In addition to the Philadelphia Area and New York Metro events, the inaugural DC/Virginia Endurance Sports Expo (ESE) joins the series on 9-10 February 2013 at Fredericksburg Expo and Conference Center in Fredericksburg, Virginia.)
Walton will leverage his expertise in coaching, technology and performance to help compile a line-up of nationally recognized athletes, coaches and industry insiders presenting informative and relevant sessions for every athlete. The full Endurance U schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
Expo organizers have also announced BodyArmor SuperDrink, creator of the SuperDrink beverage category, as a co-sponsor and Official Beverage of Endurance University. BodyArmor is ‘packed with a proprietary blend of nutrients that provides an unparalleled combination of superior nutrition, hydration and taste.’
“Endurance University is a tremendous component of ESE where athletes can gather, ask questions and learn from the leading experts in the industry,” said Brian Walton of Walton Endurance. “The goal of Endurance University mirrors what we do at Walton Endurance as we strive to make a personal connection and educate athletes on how to use the latest technology and science to bring out their peak performance.
“I’m honoured to be a part of the 2013 Endurance Sports Expo and look forward to seeing you at Endurance University.”
One industry expert scheduled to appear at ESE DC/VA is Hunter Allen, CEO and Founder of Peaks Coaching Group. Allen, internationally known as one of the top experts in the field of power meter coaching, will share his expertise on training with power with athletes at the Fredericksburg ESE event.
