On 26 October, more than 2,000 athletes, representing nearly all 50 US states and many countries will travel to Wilmington, North Carolina, for the Mid-Atlantic region’s largest triathlon – the PPD Beach2Battleship.
Rated one of the top five triathlons in the world by readers of Triathlete magazine, and one of the top 20 triathlons in the world by Men’s Health magazine, PPD Beach2Battleship is known for its fast swim, flat sweeping ride and festive finish in downtown Wilmington. Funds raised benefit the Wilmington Family YMCA, supporting programs in the local community.
