The organisers of leading global bike industry trade show Eurobike cite excellent test conditions and a first-class field of participants for the seventh outing of Eurobike Demo Day. The informal gathering on 27 August 2013, gives retailers and distributors the opportunity to put the latest bikes to the test in Argenbühl in the Allgäu, Germany.
On Demo Day, 147 exhibitors and brands (in 2012 it was 133) will present their newest product innovations, further expanding the event’s exhibition space and helping to raise the quality of participation. This year’s first-time participants include De Rosa, Hercules and Thule Sweden, all major names in the industry.
“More and more, the importance of Demo Day is growing to match that of the Eurobike itself – both are unique events featuring top-notch participants and are unmatched at any other trade show venue in the world,” explained Klaus Wellmann, CEO of Messe Friedrichshafen.
For the seventh time, the Demo Day will set the stage for the main Eurobike show, which opens its doors at Lake Constance, Friedrichshafen, for four days starting on 28 August. On the day before Eurobike, top international brands will show off their newest developments for the coming season to the media and their colleagues in the industry.
Last year, 1938 industry visitors and 728 journalists from around the world came to Demo Day to put the latest racing bikes, e-bikes, recumbent and folding bikes and mountain bikes to the acid test on five different bike tracks.
