Corporate sponsorships are available for the sixth annual Stamford KIC IT Triathlon in Connecticut on 30 June 2013 and the third annual Kids Triathlon on 29 June 2013. The Stamford KIC IT Triathlon series benefits Kids in Crisis, a free emergency shelter and 24-hour crisis counselling centre for Connecticut children and families.
As the event organisers point out, ‘new sponsorship opportunities are available this year, including mile markers and booths; and there is a sponsorship available to meet every budget.’
The Stamford KIC IT Triathlon has quickly become one of the most popular multisport events in the tri-state area, drawing athletes from throughout Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and across the US. Last year’s sold out event hosted more than 600 athletes, 300 volunteers; and more than 2,000 spectators came to downtown Stamford to watch the event and participate in the post-race Family Festival. Approximately 35% of visitors were from outside of Connecticut.
